Founder, Speaker, & Leadership Strategist
"Resilience isn’t just about surviving the pressure; it’s about redesigning the playbook."
Every organization desires high performance, but very few grasp the human cost associated with achieving it. Throughout my two-decade career traversing corporate boardrooms, campus hallways, and clinical environments, I've observed brilliant minds and highly productive teams quietly experiencing burnout.
My mission is to change that. As the founder and architect of The Positive Playbook, I collaborate with corporations, school districts, and athletic organizations to establish cultures of high-impact, sustainable leadership. By merging my extensive career in organizational execution with rigorous therapeutic insights, I assist leaders in stepping out of survival mode and into their full potential.
The Journey: From the Classroom to the Boardroom
My career has been characterized by a central theme: building people and optimizing systems. Over the last twenty years, I've mastered the art of learning, development, and human behavior across diverse landscapes:
Corporate Leadership at Citi: As Vice President of Learning and Development, I spearheaded enterprise-wide training initiatives, designed large-scale educational resources, and communicated critical, data-driven strategies directly to global directors and senior executives.
Educational Leadership as an Assistant Principal: While leading personnel in complex school environments in Dallas ISD and Plano ISD, I successfully implemented school improvement plans, crafted professional development initiatives, and established positive play strategies that reduced disciplinary incidents.
Academia & Technology Integration: Whether managing million-dollar technology implementations—like organization-wide Blackboard and SharePoint rollouts—or teaching educational transformation as an Adjunct Psychology Professor at Dallas Community College, my work has consistently intersected psychology, human performance, and technological scale.
Why I Speak: Resilience, Burnout, & Positive Culture
My transition from executive leadership to mental health advocacy wasn't merely a career change; it stemmed from lived experience.
I’ve navigated the challenges of high-achieving professionals. I understand the pressures of managing multi-million dollar budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and balancing community leadership with personal life. I've witnessed the toll diverse work cultures take, and I've felt the crushing weight of burnout personally.
This realization motivated me to pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while building on my business background.
Today, I bridge the gap between business metrics and mental wellness. When I speak nationally, I offer more than just high-level theories. I provide practical, battle-tested strategies and clinical depth on topics like:
The Anatomy of Executive Burnout: Identifying the warning signs in high-performers before it's too late.
Building a Positive Playbook: Practical frameworks for school administrators and corporate leaders that enhance play strategies while reducing stress and boosting retention and performance.
Leading Through Transition: Effectively navigating organizational change, technology rollouts, and cultural shifts with emotional intelligence and strategic alignment.
